Riat (pronounced: /Ree-ought/) began his cosmetological journey at the Paul Mitchell School, where his excellence earned him the nickname 'Golden Hands'. Post graduating, he has studied the Vidal Sassoon methodology in New York, London, San Francisco, and DC. Riat worked professionally for five years at Salon Sage, where surrounded by lovely people, he furthered his craft. He currently sees clients one-on-one at his loft in Tyson's Corner. Riat has additionally beautified numerous events such as weddings, bahmitvahs, photoshoots, and film. He specializes in balayage and keratin treatments. He remains a perpetual student, to this day absorbing Youtube's latest in vogue trends and techniques to keep his style on the edge of now.

Riat loves tattoos, being an American Citizen, and having perfect skin, just not being woken each morning by his cat "Rain Man". He lives in Fairfax with his wonderful husband Judson. Riat is a beam of light sent from the universe to cut hair with flair, precision, and kick-ass elegance.
